Completing a Resident Calorie Count

With Recipes and Production enabled, you can nutritionally analyze resident meal orders as served or considering percent consumed. You can add and save consumption percentages for menu items included in the resident's meal orders.

Warning

You must have Recipes and Production enabled to access Calorie Count.

    • Resident Listing > Actions > Calorie Count.

    • Resident Details > Calorie Count.

    • Order Manager > Unfed Residents > Actions > Calorie Count.

  1. Select Start Date, End Date, and Meal(s).

  2. Click Load.

  3. Note

    Percentage consumed can be added manually for each item or percentage quick entry buttons can be used to add a percentage to all items at 1 time.

To see a Calorie Count report, click Print.

  • Analyze Ordered is an analysis of all menu items ordered, and does not consider percent consumed values.

  • Analyze Consumed is an analysis of items ordered, considering percent consumed values.

  • Percentage consumed can be added for 1 or multiple meals based on a start and end date.

  • Meals that require percentages appear in red.

  • Menu items with less than 100% consumed are highlighted in yellow.

  • If a menu item has an analysis problem, an exclamation icon appears and Cannot Calculate appears on the Calorie Count reports.
