Creating and Managing Production Areas

This screen contains configuration settings for Production Setup for Production Areas. You can create a list of the Production Areas (staff roles) that exist within your kitchen. After Production Areas are created you can indicate which menu items they are involved with preparing.

  1. Facility Setup > Production Setup > Production Areas.

  2. Complete Production Area Name.

  • Production Area Name - Type information. Click on production area name to make changes. The name has a 50 character limit and must be unique. 

  • Recipes - Select option. Allows you to print Scaled Recipes report for selected Production Areas from the Production Worksheet.

  • Menu Item Tally - Select option. Allows you to print the Menu Item Tally Report for the selected Production Areas from the Production Worksheet.

  • Pick List - Select option. Allows you to print the Menu Item Pick List from the Production Worksheet.

  • Assigned Menu Items - Review listed menu items.

  • Change - Allows you to add or remove assigned menu items from a production area.

    1. Select production area.

    2. Click Change.

    3. Enter name or partial name of menu item in search field or search by category from list.

    4. Select menu item(s).

    5. Move menu item(s) from Available Menu Items to Assigned Menu items or vice versa using < or >.

  • Menu items can be assigned to multiple Production Areas.

  • You can print Production Area and Unassigned Menu Items reports.
