Creating and Managing Special Occasion Menus

This screen contains configuration settings for Special Occasion Menus in Menu Builder. The first step in building a 1 day menu for your facility is to add a Special Occasion Menu, including title and description.

After a Special Occasion Menu is created and data entry is complete, you can change the status from DRAFT to READY so that it can be scheduled. If you have the Company Menu Manager role, you can assign 1 or more facilities to the Special Occasion Menu. This gives editing permission to users at the selected facility(ies).

You can also make older or unused Special Occasion Menus inactive.

Important

It is helpful to add all the Menu Items, including their suitabilities, and Therapeutic Menu combinations needed, for example, ground or pureed, before you start adding items to your menu. See Setup Therapeutic Menus for more information.
