Creating Meal Courses

Meal courses help you group menu items in the menus, making meal ordering more efficient.

Warning

You must create a Menu Set and define the number of days before creating Meal Courses.

  1. Click pencil icon to add/edit courses.

  • Add Course 

    • Course Name - Type Course Name. For example, Beverages, Cereal, Entrees, and so on. This is the name that appears next to Show All in Menu Entry.

    • Color - This is the of the course button in both Menu Entry and Meal Ordering.

  • Meal check boxes - Select meals that apply to the course. For example, Cereals for breakfast. If it applies to breakfast, lunch, and dinner, select All Meals. For example, beverages.

  • If there are items on your menu that are offered on all days, for all or specific meals, put them into their own course. For example, All-Day Breakfast, Always Available Items, A La Carte Menu, and so on.

  • Select lighter for your Main Courses. This makes it easier to read in Meal Ordering.
