Managing the Ticket Dashboard

You can use the Ticket Dashboard to view resident meal tickets to help with meal preparation by the production staff. You can select different filter options to focus on all or specific units, dining areas, or tables within a meal period to expedite meal service. The live metrics keep you up-to-date on meal ordering and meal production.

Note

You must have the Meal Orders role to access the Ticket Dashboard.

  1. Dashboards > Ticket Dashboard.

  2. Click Done when meal ticket is complete.

Filter options

  • Kitchen - Selection based on setup.

  • Date - Select option.

  • Meal Period - Select option.

  • Unit - Select option.

  • Dining Area - Select option. Selection based on setup.

  • Dining Table - Select option. Selection based on setup.

  • # Tickets to Display - Select option. Shows 3 to 7 tickets to accommodate the size of your monitor.

  • Display Done orders - Select option. View meal tickets marked as Done.

  • Sort By - Select option. When you sort the Ticket Dashboard by Meal Service Sequence, the tickets appear on the dashboard based on the Meal Service Sequence setup. In setup, you can select to sort dining areas without tables and seats by resident name or unit, room, and bed.

Metrics

  • Active Census - Number of active residents for the meal period.

  • Meals on Hold - Number of active residents whose meals are on hold, including custom holds.

  • Refused - Number of residents who refused a meal during this meal period.

  • Done (Served) - Number of meals completed. Order taken, meal assembled, and ready to serve to the resident.

  • Placed (Pending) - Number of orders successfully placed, but not assembled.

  • Held Orders - Number of orders placed, but have non-compliant issues according to the resident's diet order or allergies.

  • Not Placed (Unfed) - Number of meal orders that are not placed. 

  • NPO/No Diet - Number of residents that are NPO or do not have a diet listed in their Resident Details page.

  • The metrics automatically adjust when the filters are changed or you click Done for a meal ticket.
