Security for Nutrition Management

The following are security permissions related to user roles of the Nutrition Management application. The user roles are applied to individual users.

  1. Administrator > Users.

  2. Complete the fields as required. See Creating and Managing Users for more information.

Security Permission

Access Level

Nutrition Management

Administrator

Access to Care Plan Setup, Meal Order Setup, Admin Reports, Admin Setup, and User Setup.

  • Sub-role: EHR Mapping - Access to the EHR Diet Order Mapping to maintain mapping between the PointClickCare Electronic Health Record Pick List items and Nutrition Management special diets and textures. 

  • Sub-role: User Security - Access to Users under Admin Setup.

  • Sub-role: Corp. Print Servers - Access to Corporate Print Servers under Admin Setup.

Order Manager

Access to Order Manager under Menus tab: Unfed Residents, Resident Search, Batch Orders, Order Search, Held Orders, and Print Problems.

Meal Orders

Access to Meal Orders under Menus tab: Order Resident Meals. Gives access to the Ticket Dashboard.

Menu Builder

Access to Menu Builder under Menus tab: Menu Set Listing, Setup Therapeutic Menus.

  • Sub-role: Menu Items - Access to edit Menu Items.

  • Sub-role: Setup Therapeutic Menus - Access to edit Setup Therapeutic Menus.

  • Sub-role: Company Menu Manager - Access to manage editing permissions of Menu Sets by facility. Also gives company-wide access to menu sets (Draft and Ready status).

Report User

Access to Reports tab.

Resident Manager

Access to Residents tab: Resident Listing, Resident Dashboard, Resident Details, Diet Order, Meal Service Details, Add Edit Dislikes, ADT, Non-select or Select actions, Meals on Hold, and Residents Reports.

Dashboards

Access to a specific dashboard when logging in to Nutrition Management.

  • If you have the Resident Manager security role, the Resident Dashboard is default.

  • If you do not have the Resident Manager, but you have the Meal Orders or Order Manager security role, the Ticket Dashboard is default.

  • If you do not have the Resident Manager, Meal Orders, or Order manager security roles, the Dining Area Dashboard is default.

Facility Setup

Access to Facility Setup tab: Facility Setup, Report Setup, Menu Setup, Production Setup and Nutrient Analysis Setup.

Recipe Manager

Access to Recipe Builder under Production tab: Recipe Listing, Ingredients, Ingredient Categories, Serving Utensils, and Serving Temperatures.

Production Manager

Access to Production Worksheet under Production tab: Production Worksheet, Menu Item Tally Report, and Scaled Recipes.
