Activating Single Sign On

You can open Nutrition Management from PointClickCare without logging in separately when using Single Sign On (SSO) access. After SSO is activated, the Nutrition Management link appears under the Home tab in PointClickCare. You need to log a case with PointClickCare Help Desk to complete the activation. 

Warning

You must set up the security role in PointClickCare before activating Single Sign On.

  1. Do one of the following: 

    • Create a PointClickCare Help Desk case.

      1. Log into PointClickCare.

      2. Click username in upper right corner.

      3. Click Resource /Support.

      4. Click Request Support.

      5. Complete fields as required. Must include PointClickCare Org code, Security Role name, and scope in Brief Description of Problem field.

      6. Click Submit Support Request.

    • Contact Customer Support.Contacting Customer Support

  • If your PointClickCare session times out or you log off, you are automatically logged out of PointClickCare and Nutrition Management.

  • If you log out of Nutrition Management, your PointClickCare session does not end.

  • The turn around for activation of SSO is up to 5 business days.
