Creating Single Sign On Security Access

You can use Single Sign On (SSO) to access Nutrition Management from PointClickCare without having to log in separately. A PointClickCare system administrator creates a separate security role in PointClickCare. You can set up the security role to include only specific Nutrition Management users or all PointClickCare users.

Note

After creating the Single Sign On security role, you must log a case with PointClickCare Help Desk to activate the Nutrition Management SSO access.

Configuration Options
  • Description - Type information. For example, Nutrition Management access. 

  • Module - Select option.

  • Scope - Select Corporate.

  • Access Level - You do not need to add any access for this role.

  • Users - Select users that need SSO access to Nutrition Management.

  • The Single Sign On access is optional.

  • Single Sign On for Nutrition Management is a one-time set up that is done by PointClickCare Vendor Integration Services.

  • Single Sign On is security role driven. Vendor Integration Services assigns access to the Nutrition Management link. Only those users assigned to the security role see the Nutrition Management SSO link under the Home tab in PointClickCare.
