Creating Corporate Print Servers

You can add and install a corporate print server that is available for all facilities within your organization.

  1. Administrator > Corporate Print Servers.

  • Monitoring Active - Select option. If selected, allows you to monitor the print server for errors or issues.

  • Unique Identifier - A unique identifier is automatically created after saving print server. The identifier is used to set up the printer to connect to your computer.

  • API Password - A password is auto generated when adding a new print server.

  • Download Installer - Select option. A zip folder downloads to your computer containing a file called config.properties. Follow instructions to complete configuration.

  • Contact your internal IT department to request technical support for completing the printer configuration should you need additional assistance.

  • Select Print Server name to edit name, API password, and monitoring status.

  • You can edit existing print servers and save an API password. After saving, you need to download and re-install the printer installer for meal ticket printing to work.

  • If using a thermal printer for meal tickets, you can use any brand but it must be a 3 inch wide thermal receipt printer. The Epson Thermal TM-T88V printer is recommended.
