Creating Production Worksheet Reports

From Production Worksheet, you can print:

  • Menu Item Tally Report - The report tallies menu items required for meal service. You can group to print by production area and subtotal by unit or dining area.

  • Menu Item Pick List Report - Use the report to assist staff in gathering required menu items for a specific satellite dining area. You can also log food temperatures to help ensure food safety and record leftovers. The report is available in Production Worksheets.

  • Scaled Recipes -  Prints recipes scaled to the totals listed in the Production Worksheet. If your recipe has a servings/pan value saved, the number of portions adjusts to increments of the servings/pan value. 

  • Production Notes - The report lists the production notes entered and saved in Menu Builder for a specific week and day. You can give the report to kitchen staff as a to do list of prep and pull instructions, as well as cleaning duties. You can also print the report from Production Reports and Menu Builder.

  1. Production > Production Worksheet.

  2. Select Date, Meal, Kitchen, and Menu Set, then click Load.

  3. Select report.

Menu Item Tally Report 

  • Production Areas - Select option(s).

  • Subtotal By - You can only select one option.

  • Include Unassigned Menu items - Includes all menu items that were ordered or forecasted, but are not assigned to a production area.

Menu Item Pick List

  • Production Areas - Select option(s).

  • Include Unassigned Menu items - Includes all menu items that were ordered or forecasted, but are not assigned to a production area.

  • Units: Select options(s)

  • Dining Location: Select option(s)

  • Print Column to Track: Include tracking for Leftovers and Serving Temp.

Scaled Recipes

  • Production Areas - Select option(s).

  • Sort By: Select option.

  • Print Recipe Photo - Select option.

  • Include Pre-Purchased Recipes - Select option. A recipe prints for recipes that are marked as Pre-Purchased in their Recipe Details screen.

  • Include Unassigned Menu Items - Includes all menu items that were ordered or forecasted, but are not assigned to a production area.

  • The Menu Item Tally Report, Menu Item Pick List, Scaled Recipes, and Production Notes can only be run from the Production Worksheet.

  • The Menu Item Tally Report links modifier menu items to the parent menu item to help you when pre-assembling meals.

  • Recipe portions are rounded to the nearest whole number.
