Managing Menu Schedules
This screen contains Menu Setup configuration settings for Menu Schedules. You can set up which menu set you serve from a particular kitchen, including the start and end dates for that menu cycle.
During a regular menu schedule, you can also schedule Special Occasion Menus (i.e. Summer BBQ, Thanksgiving Dinner, etc.) that are served in place of or in addition to the regular cycle menu.
Menu schedules determine which menu items appear in the meal ordering screen for the selected calendar date.
Note
A menu set must be in READY status to be selected for scheduling.
To schedule a menu set
Facility Setup > Menu Setup > Menu Schedule.
Click Schedule Menu Schedule.
To schedule a Special Occasion
Facility Setup > Menu Setup > Menu Schedule.
Select a scheduled Menu Set.
Click Schedule Special Occasion.
Adding or editing Menu Sets
Kitchen - Select option.
Menu Set - Select option.
Start Date - Select option.
End Date - Select option.
Adding or editing Special Occasion
Menu - Select option.
Date - Select option.
For Meals - Select option.
Course List (optional) - Select courses from the regular Menu Set that should appear in the meal ordering screen along with Special Occasion choices.
Your start date should fall on the same day of the week that you defined as your First Menu Day in Company Details.
