Managing Print Problems

From the Print Problems screen, you can see why a meal ticket failed to print. The meal ticket has the status Print Failed until the issue is resolved and the meal ticket is reprinted successfully.

  1. Menus > Order Manager > Print Problems.

  • Resident's name - Click to open the Print Jobs window and the error message details.

  • Include Voided Orders - Check to include the voided orders in the list.

  • Reprint - Click the Reprint button and follow the prompt. When reprint is successful, the Status changes from Failed to Scheduled.

  • Print Jobs icon - This opens a view of the resident's meal ticket.

    • T = Tray ticket

    • B = Batched ticket

  • The Print Problems button turns red when there are meal tickets that failed to print.

  • A meal ticket is resent to the print server 5 times before it shows on the Print Problems list.

  • You can review the error message in the Print Jobs screen to troubleshoot the issue.
