Completing Held Orders

You can review the resident's meal orders and modify them based on their diet order. Orders can be held due to a change in the resident's diet order or allergies, or if when auto-suggesting, the menu does not have suitable replacement items for their therapeutic menu. 

  1. Menus > Order Manager > Held Orders.

  2. Click Resident's name.

  • My Orders Only - Select to show only meal orders you placed.

  • Select Orders to Void - Select to view check boxes beside each order. Select 1 or more check boxes and click Void Order(s).

  • Only show multiple orders - Select to show only residents with multiple held orders for the same date or meal.

  • Search by Name, ID or Reason - Type full or partial resident name, ID, or held reason.

  • Type - S or NS. Indicates resident is either Select or Non Select.

  • Resident Name - Click on resident's name to open the Order Summary screen. The Held Reason is listed on the right side of the meal ticket. You can do one of the following:

    • Void Order - Voids meal order.

    • Modify Order - Opens the meal ordering screen. You can modify the meal order.

  • The Held Orders button turns red when there are held orders listed.

  • When an order is held because standing orders have changed, click Modify to update the order with the current standing orders.
